Ah Neil - I was absolutely flabbergasted - 7 years old and they dump the MAN - I could not understand - I mean I won a sweet because my cousin did not know who the PM was and I knew it was Winnie - sweets in 1945 were heaven. And now it was Clem or had it been Clemmie.... And then years of austerity. So boring. George Orwell writes 1984 a satire on 1948 - back to "Brazil" again what a film. And then the Tories and Winnie are back in power and sweets are off the rationing... Ron
