I am still being ring my companies wanting me to install Solar panels. And they said 25 years to recover costs...

Renewable power is intermittent. No solar scheme has ever closed down one coal fired power plant. The best that can be said of Solar PV is that it might prevent *new* coal capacity being built. But it won't close the old. Check this basic historical fact out...

2 Countries started a 20 year effort to get off fossil fuels.

France went nuclear, Denmark went renewable.

Denmark remains at 650g Co2 / kwh while France is at 90g Co2 / kwh.

It's nuclear power or it's climate change.

PS: I'd LOVE to be wrong on this and see some kid invent a super-cheap super-battery that could store extra summer solar for long dark winters. But until that happens, I'm sticking to the nuclear story. GenIV nukes are SAFE and eat nuclear waste and could run the world for 500 years on today's waste.
