I was a kid when it happened and was fascinated by the first war in my
memory. I remember:
* When the HMS Sheffield was hit by an Exocet.
* When the Atlantic Conveyor was also hit by an Exocet.
* The Battle of Goose Green.
* The sinking of the General Belgrano.
* The Bluff Cove debacle.
Naturally I was pro-Brit rah rah rah. I am more aware of the history of
the island and its Argentinian claim... but there was no way the
Argentinian invasion was justified. If anything it has made the island
more part of Britain.
