I did s...Unfortunately I didn't see Sunshine State. I did see Silver City, where Chris Cooper plays a Dubya-like governor of Colorado - but his role in that film is quite small. The thing that most stuck with me was how 'literary' the film was, in the sense of layers of meaning woven together, which get richer on repeated viewings. I've sought out Sayles' films ever since.
